To me, bittersweet conveys, particularly weddings, so absolutely perfectly. It is like going to the airport to see a friend depart to study overseas, to see a family member go to pursue their dream in an overseas land. That moment, when you depart; there will be tears, there will be smiles, there will be an overwhelming sense of love, of nostalgia, of memories long forgotten. How much more, then, are weddings?
As the father walks his daughter down the aisle. When he stands to respond that he, as he raised her for twenty, thirty years (or more), is prepared to now release his daughter to be with the man of her dreams. There is love, and there will be tears, as he remembers her as a child, her foolish times, her happy times. And then, with his wife, the bride’s mother, they look on as she speaks forth her vows, as she agrees; “I do”.
It’s love. It’s life. It’s bittersweet
Before I commit, how much do you charge?
It really does depend, but basically a ball park figure is around S$1,800 for a full day wedding. We can discuss further if you want, please go to the Make Contact section to drop us a message!
What do I get when you take photos for me?
For events, you will get a CD/DVD with all the shots taken from the event.
For weddings, you will also get a CD/DVD with all the shots taken from your wedding. In addition, there will be a special online album for you and your loved ones to share. There is an option for a leather bound table album to be made for you, although there are costs involved.
What if I want to hire a videographer or a second photographer?
That’s absolutely fine. I would like to think I conduct myself very professionally at weddings or events and will work with whoever there is to work with! However, it would be good for you to let each of us know who should be prioritised. This is particularly necessary for the photographer role where primary and secondary roles should be laid out to avoid having shots ruined or opportunities missed!
